Qld: Worker crushed by load of steel
BRISBANE, Dec 31 AAP - A man has been crushed to death by a load of steel in an industrial
incident in Brisbane's east.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was working at a steel processing plant on Anton
Road, Hemmant when the accident occurred about 1am (AEST) today, police said.
Paramedics attended but he was declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet clear.
Workplace Health and Safety is investigating.
